Blood Pressure Monitoring

A blood pressure monitor is a non-invasive and safe test, there may be some discomfort while the cuff is squeezing your arm during the reading – this is normal.

Please note that you cannot shower while wearing this monitor, so it is ideal to have a shower before your appointment.

Wear loose upper clothing, if possible, to accommodate for the cuff around your arm.

To access this service you must have a referral from a medical provider - Appointment necessary.

The patient phone number and address must be included on the referral, if using fax or email – You will be contacted via mail or phone call as appropriate, with the appointment details.

This is a non-Medicare rebateable test, a charge applies.

We will advise you of the cost upon booking.
