Ballarat Youth (15 - 24 years)

This team provide a comprehensive metal health assessment, shor- term treatment/care interventions for young people with a mental illness, who are in crises and ongoing support for young people experiencing prolonged and severe mental illness, who may require longer periods of treatment and support. 

Young people aged 15-24 years who are at risk of developing a mental illness or are diagnosed with a mental illness.

Referrals can be made to YMHS by clients, parents/carers/guardian, General Practitioners, Paediatricians and community agencies. 

All referrals are made through the Grampians Health Ballarat Access and Triage service on 1300 247 647. 

Parent / Carer permission may be required for youth under 18 years old. Referrals can be made by phone 1300 247 647.
