Book Trolley volunteer program

The return of another one of our Volunteer Programs, the Book Trolley has created lots of excitement across the wards, with our volunteer Heather offering free books to patients on a weekly basis.

The books are kindly donated to Volunteer Services, those books are then offered to patients for them to read and keep to help provide entertainment during their hospital stay.

This is a great concept, providing not only stimulation for patients but the also the opportunity for patients to interact with our volunteers that operate the Book Trolley.
