Grampians Health Ballarat places vital importance on the input and involvement of our community and consumers in our operations. The Community Advisory Committee is a formal committee who advises the hospital on establishing and maintaining effective systems to ensure the health services provided meet the needs of the communities we serve, and that the views of consumers are taken into account in the hospital’s decision-making processes.
The Community Advisory Committee objectives:
- Advise the Board on behalf of the community.
- Identify and advise the Board on priority areas and issues requiring community engagement.
- To communicate the consumer perspective on hospital services and opportunities for improvement in quality, safety and accessibility to the hospital.
